Annual Friends of the Stockbridge Library silent auction closes with flurry of bidding

by Paul Crandall

The Friends of the Stockbridge Library’s annual silent auction closed this year on Nov. 30 with a flurry of bidding on a bumper crop of donations.  Some 224 items were donated to the auction, more than any year in recent memory, and pledges reached $2,020 – the highest amount pledged at auction since 2011.

Auction proceeds will benefit the Stockbridge Library in materials and programming.  The Friends wish to thank all who contributed, either with donations or bids or both.
