2016 Stockbridge Community General Election Candidates
The following candidates responded to the Stockbridge Community News request for information. Additional candidates may be added as we receive more responses.
Robert Hollenbeck is running for Stockbridge Village President.
“The thing I love most about Stockbridge is the small town feel,” Hollenbeck said. “I also think the school system is phenomenal, and I beleive this town is filled with creative, resourceful people than can only be an asset to the village.”
Sandie Kay, Stockbridge Township Trustee, has held the position for four years.
“My favorite thing about Stockbridge is the loving and giving people here,” Kay said. “My mother just resigned from Outreach after 10 years. I helped her each Christmas and was sent to tears regarding the local residents who helped those in need.”
C.G. Lantis is running for Stockbridge Township Supervisor for the first time.
“My favorite thing about Stockbridge is going from one end of town to the other and being able to wave or beep my horn at everyone I know,” Lantis said. “My personal goal is to do something to leave Stockbridge a little better than it was before me.”
Becky Muraf is running for Stockbridge Township Clerk for the first time.
“My favorite thing about Stockbrige is the close knit and friendly small town atmosphere,” Muraf said. “If elected, I am looking for a way to be more involved in our community as well serving the people in an honest and fair manner.”
Cindy Collins Reames
Cindi Collins Reames is running for Stockbridge Township Clerk for the first time, but was the Stockbridge Village Clerk in the past.
“My favorite thing about Stockbridge is the small, laid back village,” Reames said. “It’s refreshing to be a part of compared to the fast pace of the cities. I also love our farmers.”
Terry Sue Sommer
Terry Sue Sommer, Stockbridge Township Trustee, has held the position for three terms.
“My favorite thing about Stockbridge is small town feeling,” Sommer said. “You can have things like a Fall Festival and see your neighbors in a tractor parade, watch their children decorate a pumpkin, and enjoy the sights and
sounds in front of our beautiful town hall.
