Positively Chiropractic, Adiska Family Dentistry and Crossroads Community church have teamed up to supply the students of Jack’s River Primary School with school supplies at the end of may.

According to Ryan Henderson, the students of Jack’s River Primary School and their surrounding community of St. Mary, Jamaica, don’t have many material possessions, but are wealthy in joy. Henderson says the students derive happiness and joy from a completely different set of values and principles.

“They don’t have much and truly measure people by the kindness in their heart and joy in their soul,” Henderson said. “They are truly remarkable people who you instinctively want to help with supplying them with ‘first world’ things, but end up walking away in awe, learning more about yourself and humanity, that far outweighs any of the material possessions that you could gift.”

Starting April 1st and running through May 17, donations of school supplies will be collected at the three businesses in Stockbridge. Positively Chiropractic, Adiska Family Dentistry and Crossroads Community Church will all be filling suitcases with the donations. Dr. Erin Clifton of Positively Chiropractic will be delivering the donations directly to the students at Jack’s River Primary School at the end of May.
