(March 7, 2019) – St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea will sponsor the 30th annual Heart & Sole Run, Walk and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, May 4 at Chelsea High School. All proceeds from this year’s race will go towards helping expand and enhance the hospital’s tree-lined scenic walking paths with additional routes, lighting and signage. These investments will help sustain the hospital campus as a safe haven for fitness and wellness for future patients and their families. The Heart & Sole race will offer several options for this year’s participants including a 2 mile run/walk and a 5K run/walk. Both are walker friendly and the routes are completely paved. There will also be a 10k run on a new paved route, and a family-friendly kids fun run. All races begin and finish in the Chelsea High School parking lot, located just off of Trinkle Rd. in Chelsea. Start Times: · 8:15 a.m. – Kids Fun Run · 8:30 a.m. – 10k and 5k · 9:00 a.m. – 2 Mile Online registration for the race is currently open at www.chelseaheartandsole.org.
