Community Events Support ‘Moving More’ and ‘Eating Better’

The Stockbridge Area Wellness Coalition and the 5 Healthy Towns Foundation are very proud and excited to host the BRIDGE TO WELLNESS CHALLENGE.  The BTWC is a FREE 15-week weight loss and wellness challenge which kicked off on March 3rd and runs through June 15th.

As part of the CHALLENGE we will be hosting a “Wellness Series” of six community events focused on “Moving More” and “Eating Better”.  These events are not only OPEN to the CHALLENGE participants, but FREE AND OPEN to all community members.  We welcome and encourage everyone to participate and take advantage of these educational and physical programs.

Schedule of Community Events in support of “Moving More” and “Eating Better”

  • March 15th – 7:00 p.m., “Nutritional Hacks” – Dr. Erin Clifton, Positively Chiropractic
    • Smith Elementary School’s Extended Learning Center
  • March 20th – 6:30 p.m., “Goal Setting Workshop”, Stacey Sheets, Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach and Fitness Specialist, Chelsea Wellness Center
    • Smith Elementary School’s Extended Learning Center
  • April 12th – 6:30 p.m., in partnership with Center of Eating Disorders and St. Joseph Mercy Behavioral Health, Joy Mulrath, Hungerwise Coordinator. Also “Eight Dimensions of Wellness”, Kathryn Walz, LMSW, CPC Behavioral Health Navigator St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea
