October 3, 2016 5:30 p.m: Stockbridge’s current high school witnessed its lawn torn to shreds, not by tire treads or the ravage of fiendish moles but by glistening shovels and ready biceps. Celebrating months of planning, members of the Stockbridge Board of Education and community gathered to mark the groundbreaking of what will create a state-of-the-art Junior/Senior High School.

How long will construction take? Superintendent Karl Heidrich said he expects the new addition to open its doors in time for the 2017-2018 school year.
