Hall Sparks Panthers Past Pilgrims

Chris Hall’s big night helped lead the Stockbridge basketball team to a 69-56 win over Lansing Christian Tuesday night.

Hall scored 31 points on the night to lead all scorers as the Panthers kept pace with Perry in the GLAC standings.

The Pilgrims jumped out to a 20-18 lead after one, but the Panthers outscored LCS 19-11 in the second to take a 37-31 lead at the break. Hall scored nine points and Brandon Nelson five in the second to spark the Panthers run.

The Panthers defense continued to clamp down on the Pilgrims in the third, holding them to 10 points and extending their lead to 53-41 after three.

Hall scored nine in the final quarter to help the Panthers put the game away.

Nelson finished with 12 points, while Jeremy Pilch added seven. Josh Lewis and Ty Ayers scored six each, Noah Robidou five, and John Morris two.

The Panthers improved to 10-5 overall and 7-2 in the GLAC. They return to action Friday night at Olivet.
