Sheriff Scott Wrigglesworth was present and went over 2017 briefly. State records management system is complete Ingham County is the first county in Michigan to have all jails on the same system. Evidence issues is fixed. In 2017 all reports with evidence has been checked and from January 2017 to November 2017 all evidence is there. Sheriff has ordered 2018 evidence to be checked as well. Ingham county Sheriff can now do blood draws at the office so will no longer need to take person to hospital for a blood draw if they refuse to do the breathalyzer test. There will be a sign unvailing in the spring for the Grant Whitaker Highway, Sheriff Wrigglesworth will keep the board posted on when that will happen. Ingham County needs a new jail it has been in operation for 53 years it has run at full capacity all of 2017 with 76 days being over crowded. 63 Mil project for a new jail will be on the ballot August 2018 to pay for new facility.
