Mason Sycamore Creek Garden Club to host Songbirds program

ATTRACTING SONGBIRDS – The Mason Sycamore Creek Garden Club will host a community event at the Mason City Hall; 201 W. Ash Street, Mason, MI; on March 25th at 6:30pm.  Mr. Earl Wolf will present an educational program on attracting the elusive and beautiful native Eastern Bluebirds and other songbirds to your yard, along with an explanation on the placement of nesting boxes.

Mr. Wolf is a naturalist and exhibit designer for Michigan State Parks and will also speak about his experiences managing wildlife at P. J. Hoffmaster State Park.

In addition to our program, Garden Club members will be on hand with information about Club Membership; our annual Geranium Sale fundraiser and our Youth Garden Club/Sunflower Garden program.  Bluebird nesting boxes will be available for purchase for a suggested donation if $20 each.  Proceeds from the sale of these boxes benefit of the Youth Sunflower Garden Program.

Light refreshments will be served.  This program is FREE and everyone is WELCOME.
