Whether you’ve lived here in the little town of Stockbridge for a long time or moved here recently or even if you’ve never been here before, we would love to invite you to this year’s A Day in the Village. A Day in the Village is our annual celebration of being a little place with a lot of spunk that spans from the Town Hall and Town Square to the Memorial Park.
Come on out Friday June 15th to be part of the show at the open mic, see local artists, and vendors in the square. With more music from bands like Flyte and fireworks later in the evening. Then return on Saturday June 16th to see more local musicians like Mo’ Easy, a magician, kids rides and activities as well as a movie in the square. Thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors, this festival remains to be free for all.
We will be hosting a Volunteer of the Year award to those who dedicate their hard work and energy into making this town the beautiful place that it is today. We are currently accepting nominations for this year’s Volunteer of the Year through June 1st. Nomination forms can be found on the Chamber’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/stockbridgeareachamber).
If you have a little one (0-4 years old) you might want to consider submitting their photos in this year’s Baby & Toddler Photo Contest. Please send photos to the Chamber at P.O. Box 310 by June 1st. This celebration is all about coming together as a community and we want to support you. So, if you’re having a garage sale the weekend of A Day in the Village send us an email at email@example.com. We will list it in our event flyer as well as our Facebook page for free.
These are just a few of the events happening at this year’s A Day in the Village. If you’d like to hear more about the upcoming events like us on Facebook to stay up to date and find out more.
