Paulette Tucker, of Jackson, Michigan, age 50, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson. She was born on March 9, 1967, in Jackson, MI, the daughter of James LaVern Hunt and Lucille Ann (McCann). Paulette loved her children, was a very giving person, and had a great sense of humor. She loved animals, especially horses and mules, hunting, spending time outdoors, and just like her twin sister Paula she liked to fish (even if she wasn’t very good at it!).
On October 17, 1999, she married Thomas W. Tucker in Bunker Hill Twp., and he survives. Also surviving are her children: daughter Jessica Marilyn Shaw (and grandson Noah Bates) and daughter Cissey Sylvia Beatrice Messner; her sisters: Paula Mae Hart (her twin), Renee (Dennis) Jenks, Bonnie (Terry) Washburn, and Susan (Rick) Kohn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Diana Lynn Gauze and James LaVern Hunt II; and her brother-in-law, Tim Hart.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge, with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
