Police Blotter from Police Chief Johnnie W. Torres Jr.

 

Stockbridge Police responded to the following complaints this week:

7/25/17, 9:05 pm: Domestic disturbance in the 100 block of N. Water St. Stockbridge Police Department was alerted by a passerby that there was a couple arguing here and it was becoming heated. Police made contact at a home and determined that the male half had already left the area. Police determined that no assault occurred. No crime.

7/27/17, 12:30 am: Burglary alarm in the 4500 block of S. M-52. Stockbridge Police Department responded and found the building secure. Alarm company and a contact person were notified.

7/28/17, 6:40 pm: Assist Michigan State Police in the 4000 block of Adams Rd. on a harassment complaint.

7/29/17, 3:45 pm: Missing person complaint in the 200 block of E. Elizabeth. Stockbridge Police Department was informed that a Stockbridge woman had not seen or heard from her father in over a day which was unusual. Police conducted an investigation and located a witness who saw the man in the area of the 800 block of S. Clinton inside a vehicle. Stockbridge Police Department made contact with the 58-yr-old Stockbridge man and determined he was fine. He was asked to contact this family.

Assist Ingham Co. Sheriff Department with a car-deer crash in which the deer needed to euthanized and the deputy was a long distance away. Stockbridge Police responded to put the deer down and found it already deceased. Stockbridge Police Department cleared the scene.
