Police Blotter June 26 – July 8, 2017

6/26/17, 10:45 am: Walk-in report of a missing person at Stockbridge Police Department The reporting person advised that she had not seen or heard from her husband in a week. Stockbridge started an investigation and the missing person, a 35-year-old Stockbridge man, was entered into the law enforcement system. The complainant called the next day to say that she had heard from him and that he was missing voluntarily. Closed.

6/30/17, 11:55 pm: Assist Michigan State Police with a misdemeanor warrant arrest in the 300 block of S. Center St. Stockbridge assisted with the arrest of a 50-yr-old Stockbridge man for a warrant.

7/1/17, 6:19 pm: Report of reckless driving in the 200 block of S. Clinton. The suspect vehicle was located by police and contact was made with the driver, a 27-yr-old Stockbridge man. He was cited for driving on a suspended license and released pending a warrant.

7/3/17, 4:40 pm: Assist Ingham Co. Sheriff Department with a private property injury crash involving an ATV. Police responded and found that a 10-yr-old boy suffered an apparent broken leg after crashing on his ATV. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

5:15 pm: Assist SAESA in the 100 block of E. Main St. for an elderly man possibly having a seizure. 7:05 pm: Possible contributing to the delinquency of minors complaint in the 300 block of W. Main St. Police responded and unfounded the claim. No crime.

7/4/17, 9:40 pm: Assist Ingham Co. Sheriff  Department for an unknown trouble complaint in the 400 block of Erica Lane. Police arrived on scene and determined the family was having trouble with an intoxicated subject who had left with his father. No crime.

7/6/17, 5:55 pm: Assist Michigan State Police with a car/deer crash in the 3700 block of S. M-52. No injuries reported, minor damage.

7/7/17, 6:35 pm: Larceny of gas complaint in the 4600 block of S. M-52. Stockbridge responded and found no crime occurred. Unfounded.

6:55 pm: Open burn violation in the 300 block of Wood St. Stockbridge. Made contact with a 36-yr-old Jackson man and gave him a verbal warning and had him extinguish the fire.

7/8/17, 2:15 pm: Assist Ingham Co. Sheriff Department with a rollover crash near Baseline and Parman Rd. The driver, 28-yr-old Jackson man, stated that he swerved to miss a deer and left the roadway causing his vehicle to roll over. Alcohol was not a factor. No injuries reported.

9:45 pm: Fraud complaint in the 200 block of N. Clinton. A Stockbridge resident reported that someone used her information fraudulently to obtain cell phones. Stockbridge Police Department is investigating.
