SAAC Festival Chorus Puts on Beautiful Show

The Stockbridge Area Arts Council Festival Chorus put on a beautiful performance at the historical Stockbridge Town Hall Sunday, December 4.

A full house saw an amazing performance called the Music of the Seasons put on by the Festival Chorus.

The performance featured poetry and songs from the four seasons wrapped up by a beautiful rendition of Joy to the World.

The Festival Chorus returned after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid Pandemic.

Carol Hatch returned to Stockbridge to direct the Chorus after retiring as a choir teacher for Stockbridge Schools.

Chet Czubko was the Accompanist on the piano for the Choir and there was a special guest artist in pianist Adam Knight who performed a beautiful rendition of Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker Ballet by Tchaikovsky.

Members of the Festival Chorus were (Sopranos) Erica Cesarz, Kate Dancer, Joanne Knowlton, Lori Miller, Terry Sommer, and Kim Williamson. (Altos) Erika Alley, DeAnn Charlebois, Linda Dancer, Deb Dugan, Sarah Lilly, Linda Minger, and Jackie Scheller. (Tenors) Dave Avery, Randy Heatley, Andrea Stickney, and Nancy Taylor. (Basses) Ken Sanders and Mark Taylor.
