“It was great to see a few kids dressed up as police officers, too,” said Chief Torres, pictured above with five-year-old Gregory Rose.

Smith and Heritage Elementary’ s 2016 Halloween Parade is arguably the best parade of the year, and this year was no exception.

“It was great to see all the parental support of their children’s activities,” Chief Johnnie Torres said. “The streets were packed with cars as parents and relatives tried to catch a good view of the kids. It was nice to see a few kids dressed up as police officers, too,” he added, pictured with five-year-old Gregory Rose of Stockbridge.

“Halloween was again a safe and successful event here in Stockbridge.” Torres grinned. “Now bring on Thanksgiving!”
