Top 10 Seniors

Brody Canfield, Valedictorian, 1st in the class. Parents are Gary and Sheri Canfield.  4 year Varsity baseball player and senior captain. 2 year Varsity basketball player and captain. His future plans are to attend Kettering University for Biochemistry.

Samantha Drew, Valedictorian, 2nd in the class. Parents are Gregg and Susan Drew. Member of the Claw Marks Club and Aviation Club. She is a 4.0 student and plans on attending Northwestern Michigan College to join the Aviation program and get her license to become a commercial pilot.

Katelyn Knieper, Valedictorian, 3rd in the class. Parents are Cory and Kristie Knieper. Lemelson MIT Inventeam grant, Patent Pending with microsoft, Varsity softball 4 years, Varsity volleyball 3 years, National Honor Society, Stockbridge Inventeam 4 years, Class representative. She will be attending Michigan State University for Biology.

Michelle Zemke, Valedictorian, 4th in the class. Parents are Fred and Lori Zemke.  2015-2019 Top 2 GPA. 2019 GLAC All-Academic team, 2019 GLAC Scholar athlete, State of Michigan Tribute Award, 8th in the world at MATE International ROV competition 2017, State of Michigan Tribute Award. 2018 Volleyball captain, 2018 and 2019 basketball captain. College Ambassador, Team Leader of Stockbridge Inventeam, National Honor Society, 2018 Softball captain. 50 plus hours of community service during her senior year. She will be attending Lymon Briggs College at Michigan State University to study chemistry.

Daniel Ballagh, 2nd in the class and the 2019 Salutatorian. Parents are Bill and Annette Ballagh. Top 2 GPA of his class 9th to 11th grade. Academic all league, Baseball, basketball, football, soccer. 4 years varsity football. He plans on attending Olivet College to major in insurance and risk management and minor in education, Daniel will also be playing baseball at Olivet.

Jade Harbert, 6th in the class. Parents are Sherrie Howard and Michael Harbert. He was involved in First Robotics and Golf. He will be attending Alma College for Computer Science.

Tayler Varner, 7th in the class. Parents are Connie and Thomas Varner. Honor Roll all 4 years, National Honor Society Vice President, Student Council Executive Officer, Sideline and competitive cheer, bowling team. Plans on attending Saginaw Valley State University, major in Pre-medicine, then plans to attend Michigan State University medical school.

Paige Brown, 8th in the class. Parents are Bruce and Laura Brown. GLAC All academic scholar athlete, All A and B Honor roll, Class President, National Honor Society, Student Council Executive Officer, 4 year Varsity soccer athlete, Participated in Festival of Tables all 4 years. Paige plans to attend Michigan State University to study nursing.

Reilly Caroen, 9th in the class. Parents are Nicole and Matthew Caroen. , Science Olympiad, Cross Country, and Band. Attending Lansing Community College for Psychology and Philosophy.

Abbey Salyer, 10th in the class. Parents are Jamie and Audra Salyer. Certificates of honor for Journalism and Government and Economics. Participated in JV Basketball and Cheer. Volunteered for the American Legion. Plans to attend Jackson College to get a degree in psychology or history. Will transfer to Michigan State University.
