Taking a road trip? The library can help

by Head Librarian Sherri McConnell

All CADL branches have lifted COVID restrictions, and we are so excited to welcome you back inside the Stockbridge Branch! Browse the shelves, use a computer, make copies or use the Wi-Fi with your own device.

Take time to check out the free puzzle and game exchange and the Recycled Reads Book Sale shelves, sponsored by the Friends of the Stockbridge Library. We are still providing contactless pickup for hold items and fulfilling Grab & Go requests, so if you like these services, they are still here.

Our Library of Things is circulating as well, so if you’re looking for a local destination for a late summer road trip, why not check out a pass to the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing? It’s best to place a hold early because the passes are popular.

CADL also participates in the Michigan Activity Pass program. With your library card, you can check out free or discounted passes to hundreds of Michigan state parks, campgrounds, museums and many more places. Call the Stockbridge Branch or go to our website for more details.

Capital Area District Libraries’ Stockbridge Branch is located at 200 Wood St. For more information, call 517-851-7810, or visit cadl.org
