Obituary: Timothy L. Hodges
Timothy L. Hodges, 61, of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, passed away as the result of a hepatic aneurysm on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Tim was born April 28, 1957, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Lloyd and Shirley Hodges, Jr., graduating from Stockbridge High School in 1975. Following high school, he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where he worked as a florist, waiter and at Kinkos for several years. He later moved to Tomahawk, Wisconsin to be closer to his oldest sister and mother. He worked there as a florist at House of Flowers. He also worked as a caregiver to those with disabilities.
Tim was incredibly creative and enjoyed gardening, being in nature, making people happy, and had a special connection with and tenderness for animals. Tim was a kind, generous person with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved fiercely and unconditionally and made friends wherever he went.
Tim is survived by his siblings, Paul Larned, Melanie (Don) Moyle of Antigo; and Cindy (Jim Carl) Harrison of Ann Arbor, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Melissa (Larye) Pohlman, Christopher Moyle, Brian Moyle, Ashley (Justin) Kerns, Cortland Larned, and Chadler Larned. Many dear friends further survive Tim. His father, and his mother who recently passed away on October 2, 2018 preceded him in death.
A celebration of Tim’s life was held on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor with the Rev. Paul Duke officiating.
