History of Hispanic outlaws in America
On March 13th, Carlos Villegas-Castaneda presented an informative lecture on the history of 19th century Hispanic outlaws at the Stockbridge Library. This little known part of American history had a big impact on the shaping of our nation, and even served as inspiration for the folk character Zorro. Villegas-Castaneda is an instructor of Spanish language, literature and culture at Adrian College. Photo and caption by Jenny Smith.
