Lions Improve Munith Park
The first day of May, the Munith Lions Club volunteered time and materials to enhance the community park located downtown. The club and volunteers refurbished, cleaned and upgraded the seating area, pavilion and play areas.
Many thanks to the Five Healthy Towns Foundation, the Stockbridge Health Coalition and the Munith Lions for funding and manpower for this project.
Along with refurbishing and repainting picnic tables (done next project day), new playground equipment was installed along with a library exchange box and dog waste station.
A new bicycle repair and tire pump station (photo right) was also included.
The Munith Lions Club wishes to express a big “Thank you” to all who have planned and helped with this project.
