Her Legacy… Rosemary Laverne Glowacki, 91, passed away May 12, 2019. She was born on March 24, 1928, in Little Falls, Minnesota to Peter Pierzinski and Emily (Jendro) Pierzinski. Rosemary married the love of her life, Arthur Alfred Glowacki, on October 15, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rosemary loved to go fishing with her husband and dancing, especially to polka music. She enjoyed doing crafts, and making quilts. She was a wonderful cook and baker, loved planting flowers in the summer, and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Her Family… Rosemary will be missed by her children, Deborah (Bill) Dolliver, Richard (Marilyn) Glowacki, Robin (Terry) Scurlock, and Shelly (Rick) Johnston; siblings, Gloria Krych, Bruno Pierzinski, Phyllis (Wilfred) Walz, and Carol (Randy) Wilson; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Glowacki; her parents, Peter and Emily Pierzinski; her daughter, Suzanne Roth Josephson; brother, James Pierzinski, and sister, Joanne McMahon.
Her Farewell… Rosemary’s family and friends will gather Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 2:00-8:00pm (6:00pm rosary) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter Pinckney Road, Pinckney, Michigan. Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Veterans of America.
