The Stockbridge Branch of CADL added some technology services in October. Our public computers are available for 45-minute sessions. We are making appointments for one person at a time, and a mask is required to enter the building. We also have a laptop that can be reserved and checked out for 45 minutes to use outside the library, either on our benches or in your car parked across the street.

You can make reservations for either by calling the library at 517-851-7810 or going online at cadl.org/mytime. Another recent addition is an external Wi-Fi access point mounted to the outside of the building. This extends the library’s Wi-Fi signal across the street and covers the municipal parking lot.

CADL has added Tutor.com to its list of services. Use your CADL card, including Student Success Initiative cards, to sign up for live tutoring in subjects like math; essay, resume and cover letter review; and test preparation. Learn more at cadl.org/tutor.

The Stockbridge Branch is offering two opportunities to get together every month. The Third Thursday Book Group meets on – you guessed it – the third Thursday of the month! The next meeting is November 19 at 7 p.m. when the group will be discussing Finding Dorothy: A Novel by Elizabeth Letts. You can participate online or by phone. We also offer a Dungeons and Dragons game every month. The adventure begins on November 13 at 6 p.m. To register for either event, go to cadl.org/events and filter by clicking on the Stockbridge Branch location.

Capital Area District Libraries’ Stockbridge branch is located at 200 Wood St. For more information, call 517-851-7810 or visit cadl.org.
