Update: Pedestrian hit by truck in Gregory
The Unadilla Township Police Department were dispatched at 4:39 p.m. on Nov. 7 to a single-vehicle-versus- pedestrian accident at the intersection of Main St. and M36.
The accident victim, Wilma Ketchum, of Gregory, was struck by a Ford F250 driven by Jill Katon, also of Gregory. According to Unadilla Township Police Chief David Russell, Katon’s truck had stopped at the stop sign at M36 and Main St. Upon turning left at the intersection, her truck struck Ketchum who was crossing the street.
Ketchum was transported to U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor and, as of Nov. 9, is reported to be in fair condition.
Unadilla Township Police were assisted at the scene by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department crash investigation team, the Pinckney Police Department, the Unadilla Township Fire Department, and Livingston County Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation.
