Nancy Tasker, age 81, of Gregory died at home on May 28th by the side of her devoted husband Michael Craine. Beloved mother to Andrew (Carrie) and Benjamin (Shannon), grandmother to Clyde and Oliver, and friend to many, she will be greatly missed.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Roly, sisters Maryanne and Jane, and her cherished son Andrew.

Nancy Tasker died on her 81^st birthday. She lived a full life as marriage partner of 54 years, a mother, a registered nurse, and an artist.  She raised her children In Brighton and worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.  Her artistic work was in several media, including fiber, pen and ink, and watercolor.  It was shown in galleries in the Midwest and in San Francisco.

Cremation has taken place.  She will be laid to rest in Brighton near her mother and sister, and her son Andrew.

In honor of Nancy, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter or to the Livingston County Animal Shelter.
