Thank you for 20 Years of the Buck Bash
An open letter to our community from Crossroads Community Church
Dear friends and neighbors,
For 20 years, the Buck Bash has been a special part of life at Crossroads Community Church and a tradition we have been grateful to share with our community on the opening day of rifle season.
After much thought and prayer, we have made the difficult decision to bring the Buck Bash to a close after 20 wonderful years. Beginning this year—2026—we will no longer host the event, which means, our final Buck Bash was last year.
To every vendor, local business, volunteer, and neighbor who helped make these 20 years possible: thank you. Your generosity, hard work, and participation created a tradition that brought people together and gave us so many wonderful memories. It has been a privilege to welcome our neighbors and serve this community through the Buck Bash.
We know many of you will miss this gathering. We will, too. We will treasure the conversations, laughter, and friendships shared along the way.
When the Buck Bash began, there were few similar events in our area. Over the years, our community has grown, and other events have developed to serve hunters and families in similar ways. We are grateful for those gatherings and the people who make them possible!
As we close this Buck Bash chapter, Crossroads will continue to serve our community well for years to come. We are grateful for your understanding and support as we enter a new season of ministry.
Our mission remains the same: Love God, Love One Another, and Make Disciples of Jesus. Thank you for being part of the Buck Bash story. We love this community and look forward to serving alongside you in the years ahead.
