Cross Country Teams Preparing for Regionals

It has been a busy month of October for the Stockbridge cross country teams as they prepare for the D3 regionals October 26.

The Panthers hosted the Stockbridge Invitational with the boys finishing 20^th and the girls 16^th.

Ava Vaccaro led the girls with a 62^nd-place finish in 22:21 and JayLee Chapman was 72^nd in 22:47.7.

Emily Satkowiak was 118^th in 26:35.8, Eliana Johnson 120^th in 26:53.7, Arabella Allison 132^nd in 31:21.7, Ella Hardesty 133^rd in 31:38.8, and Kaylee McClellan 137^th in 32:41.9.

William Gancer earned a medal with a 13^th-place finish in 16:52.4 to lead the boys’ team.

Alex Avis was 113^th in 20:21 and Finn Coffman 119^th in 20:37.1.

Ethan Bradley was 130^th in 21:10.3, Grant Howlett 142^nd in 21:43.3, Owen Cipta 167^th with a PR of 27:01.3, and Wyatt Okoney 168^th in 28:32.6.

Big 8 Jamboree at Quincy

The girls finished fifth at the Big 8 jamboree in Quincy.

Vaccaro was 12^th in 22:23.9 and Chapman 13^th in 22:51.7.

Satkowiak placed 27^th in 25:43.7, Johnson 37^th in 27:10.6, Allison 46^th in 32:06.4, Hardesty 47^th in 32:09.6, and McClellan 48^th in 32:12.

Gancer led the way with a third-place finish in 17:46.9.

Avis was 27^th in 20:38.1, Coffman 30^th in 21:32.4, Howlett 32^nd in 22:03.7, Steven Karowich 43^rd in 24:30, Okoney 50^th in 27:54.8, and Cipta 51^st in 29:23.3.

Hudson Invitational

The girls’ had just three runners at the Hudson Invite and did not finish with a team score.

Vaccaro was 29^th in 22:47.9, while Chapman was 41^st in 23:43.2, and Satkowiak 89^th in 27:37.1 for the Panthers.

The boys finished 12^th out of 14 schools.

Gancer paced the Panthers with a 12^th-place finish in 17:32.8.

Avis was 72^nd in 20:56.6, Bradley 87^th in 22:15.1, Howlett 93^rd in 22:54.6, Karowich 97^th in 24:15.9, Cipta 99^th in 28:21.9, and Okoney 100^th in 29:37.4.

Big 8 Jamboree- Union City

Gancer led the Panthers with a 2^nd-place finish in 17:35.1.

Avis was 26^th in 21:31, Howlett 34^th in 22:53.9, Gavin Suter 39^th in 23:43.3, Karowich 42^nd in 24:23, and Okoney 49^th in 28:50.9.

The girls finished fifth.

Vaccaro led the team with an 8^th-place finish in 22:30.4 and Chapman was 16^th in 23:40.6.

Satkowiak was 31^st in 26:44.3, Allison 42^nd in 33:23.1, Hardesty 43^rd in 33:30.8, and McClellan 44^th in 34:20.
