Do you like to play Euchre or Bunco? The Dansville Community Center at 1317 Mason Street in Dansville will be having Euchre Night on Saturday, September 2 & 16 starting at 7pm and Bunco on Saturday, September 9 at 6:30pm.   A donation of $5 per person is asked to help pay for expenses for the night. Prizes will be awarded. Beginners are welcome. Thursday, Sept. 7, 5:00-8:00.  We will present information about the petition to set up an independent commission to draw congressional districts and eliminate gerrymandering in Michigan, which will hopefully be on the 2018 ballot. We do have petitions available to be signed!

St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea to Offer Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program for Mental Illness
Livonia, Mich. (Aug. 8, 2017) — St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea will offer a free 12-week peer-to-peer mentoring program beginning in September. The educational course will provide participants with a supportive, safe and confidential environment to meet with and learn from trained National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) peer mentors who also live with mental illness.
This course will help participants:
• Understand mental illness • Discover new coping strategies • Reduce stigma • Gain knowledge to help empower • Connect with others who share a similar experience • Find volunteer and advocacy opportunities
