June 24th and 25th is Blacksmiths, Soldiers, and Log Cabin Weekend at the Waterloo Farm and Dewey School Museum . Take your family and friends on an adventure through time as you learn about the lives of some of Michigan’s early settlers, the skills and crafts that filled their world, and try your hand at a few yourself.

On select Wednesdays this summer we will host programs and performers to entertain and educate. All programs are Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

June 14   Zoo in Your Neighborhood

Educators from Potter Park Zoo will present ways to help animals like otters, beavers, ducks, and other animals that live near water. There will be no live animals.

June 21   Lansing Hoops

Miss Missy uses hula hoops, music, and dance to teach new ways to move and have fun.

June 28 Silly Sailor Snoopenheimer 

Magician Mat Emerick will put on a show as Silly Sailor Snoopenheimer on the S.S. Friendship. Mat includes stories, songs, juggling and mime along with magic.
