Saint Joseph Mercy Health System to offer low-cost mammography day October 18 and 19

CANTON, Mich. (October 15, 2018) — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Joseph Mercy Health System and Huron Valley Radiology, P.C. will offer low-cost 2D screening mammograms for $50 at the following locations:

· St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea - October 18, 2018

· St. Joseph Mercy Brighton, St. Joseph Mercy Canton Health Center, St. Joseph Mercy Livingston, St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, St. Mary Mercy Livonia and the Arbor Health Center in Plymouth - October 19, 2018

Women who are 40 years and older with no current breast problems and have not had a mammogram within the last year are eligible. If your mother or sister was diagnosed with premenopausal breast cancer, mammography

screening is recommended at age 30 and you are eligible to participate in this program. A signed physician order is required. Callback appointments for further images, 3D tomography, ultrasounds and biopsies are NOT included or covered by low-cost screening.

The fee is $50 cash, check or by credit card.
