FROM CADL STOCKBRIDGE

The Stockbridge Branch is bringing on the holiday feeling! This year we’re excited to work with Bethany Stone and The Painted Owl to provide painting kits with a wintery theme. Beginning December 5th, you can reserve a kit by calling the library at 517-851-7810 or requesting one online at cadl.org/mytime. As always, we have storytime kits for preschoolers and craft and science kits for school age children.

We gave ourselves a few new presents as well. The strange, silvery object sitting outside the library is not a UFO— it’s our new book drop! Our old book drops were a fabulous green, but the new one is better at keeping out the weather and holds more items. Also new to the library is a sign designating a parking spot for library pick-ups. The library’s external WiFi is so popular that we needed to reserve a parking spot for people picking up library materials. Our external WiFi signal covers the whole municipal parking lot across the street from the library so there’s no need to park right beside the building for a good signal.

The Stockbridge Branch staff wish you good health and warm thoughts for the holiday season.
