You haven’t heard from the Stockbridge Branch since spring, but we are in the building delivering books and more from Monday—Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Contactless Pickup. To schedule a time to pick up your holds call us at 517-851-7810 or schedule a pick-up online using our MyTime scheduling service at cadl.org/mytime.

A reader’s advisory service we added in August is Grab & Go, you tell us what kind of book you like or a favorite author, and we’ll pick five titles for you to try. Just call or mention when you schedule a pick-up in MyTime.

We are offering remote programming this fall with kits and virtual meetings. September through December the library staff are putting together Storytime to Go kits for preschoolers, STEM kits for elementary school age kids, and Take & Make craft kits for all ages. Call or reserve them through MyTime.

Virtually, we are offering the Third Thursday Book Group at 7 p.m. through Microsoft Teams. Our first book is Little Fires Everywhere, so request the book or download it and reserve your spot by calling us or signing up in our events calendar at cadl.org/events. We’ll email you the link to join the group.

Thank you for your support and waving at us as you return books or walk by. It’s good to see your smiling faces.
