GEE FARMS INVITE YOU TO VISIT THEIR NURSERY AND ARBORETUM

Gee Farms is a family owned business that has been in the same family for eight generations. Currently generation 5, 6 and 7 are actively involved in the farming operation. Gee Farms had its beginning with Gary Gee selling fruits and vegetables on his picnic table when in high school. In later years, he added a few shade trees and small shrubs, which sold very well. That marked the beginning of Gee Farms Nursery & Greenhouse. Gary’s love of plants, especially rare and unusual conifers, has bloomed into approximately 700 acres of unusual field-grown conifers and many varieties of trees and shrubs.

During the winter months, Gee Farms grafts about 20,000 rare conifers and deciduous plants. Most of their scion wood is collected in their 18-acre arboretum, which is open year-round to the public. Visit in the spring and summer months, to see a full line of annuals and perennials in 24 greenhouses. The attached farm market has seeds, statuary, garden chemicals and everything for your home and garden needs. Enjoy their bakery with home-baked bread, donuts and pastries and an ice cream parlor to cure your sweet tooth while strolling through the 12 acres of beautiful containerized plants.

They sell beauty by the yard and invite you to come visit … it’s worth the trip.
