Meet Stockbridge Police Department officers

by Chief John Torres

After introducing our newest officer last month, I thought readers might like an introduction to our two other officers as well, so here goes:

Officer Josh Watson

Officer Josh Watson joined SPD in January of 2018 and hails from the Brooklyn, Mich. area where he attended Columbia Central High and graduated in 2009. He then attended Defiance University in Ohio, obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in criminal Justice. He previously worked for Springport Twp. and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Watson is also a licensed realtor.

Officer Frank Nehr

SPD’s full-time officer is Frank Nehr. He joined SPD in September 2018, and he hails from the greater- Detroit area where he attended Detroit Jesuit High School, graduating in 2009 before attending Eastern Michigan University. There he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Officer Nehr previously worked in Eaton County and White Lake as a part-time officer.

If you need police service, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kevin, Josh, Frank, or me as we are pleased to assist you in any way we can.

Stay vigilant. Stay safe.
