POLICE BLOTTER FROM VILLAGE OF STOCKBRIDGE

Stockbridge Police responded to the following complaints this week:
03/27/18 9:00 am: SPD arrested and the 55th District Court arraigned Dawn Marie Brown, a 24 yr old
Stockbridge resident. Dawn was charged with a 2 count felony of illegal use of a financial
transaction device.
03/29/18 8:30 am: SPD assisted by the Michigan State Police conducted a random K9 search of the
Stockbridge Jr/Sr High School. No contraband or drugs were discovered.

03/31/18 9:50 pm: SPD was advised by Ingham County Central Dispatch that there was an 18 yr old
male who was talking with a female from South Carolina on Facebook. He made a suicidal statement
to her and posted pictures of what the female believed was him cutting himself. The female contacted
Ingham County 911 due to her believing that the male lived in Stockbridge. SPD discovered that the
male lived in Gregory and his cell phone was pinged showing that he was currently on Livermore
Road in Gregory. SPD contacted the Unadilla Township Police and a welfare check was completed
on the male. The male was discovered to be fine and claimed that he was not suicidal. His mother
and grandmother advised that they would monitor his behavior.
