SAGHS Update from President Laura Walsh
Members and friends of Stockbridge Area Genealogical/Historical Society,
I hope you are all doing well! It has been quite a while since you have heard from the Society and I wanted to give a brief update on things.
Due to Covid we have put our monthly board meetings on hold; the annual cemetery tour (usually in October) was canceled; and we have not scheduled any public meetings/presentations at this time.
At the beginning of April we moved our holdings from the Stockbridge Activity Center to the historic Township Hall. We are now located on the lower level, in the offices previously used by the township. Things are unpacked and in the midst of being organized, as you can see from the attached photographs!
Once our monthly board meetings resume, they will be held in the new space, and general meetings will continue to be held in the adjacent meeting room. We also look forward to hosting an open house once things are organized and it is safe to do so.
