Soccer Makes it Two Straight Wins

A 30-minute weather delay could not slow the Stockbridge girls soccer team as the Panthers picked up its third win of the season last week defeating Lansing Waverly 3-1.

Rachel Frazzini scored for the Panthers and the game was tied at 1-1 in the second half when the game was delayed due to thunder.

After the 30-minute delay the Panthers came out on fire as Bailee Heidrich and Kylin  Heidrich scored goals in the final 23 minutes to lift Stockbridge past Waverly.

The Panthers made it two straight wins in the pouring rain Thursday as they blanked Maple Valley 4-0.

Chelsey Asquith scored a pair of goals to lead the Panthers. Frazzini and B. Heidrich scored the other goals for Stockbridge.
