SRSLY Stockbridge holds first Volunteer and Donor Appreciation Party
by Diane Rockall
SRSLY Stockbridge held its first Volunteer and Donor Appreciation Party on Monday, Aug. 12 at Stockbridge Bowl. According to Hostesses Becca Jaskot and Emily Stewart, volunteer appreciation events have been held for a number of years, but this is the first time donors were included. Previous events were held in conjunction with the Chelsea group.
Those recognized received a brightly colored SRSLY backpack and a certificate of recognition. In addition to providing those interested the opportunity to bowl, the event offered vegetables and an amazing assortment of delicious cupcakes. Beverages were also provided.
Caitlin Fowler received special recognition for accumulating the most volunteer hours. In addition to the recognition, she also received a gift. During the past year, an impressive group of 80 volunteers clocked 650 hours. Since 2012, 330 volunteers have clocked more than 7,000 work hours on behalf of Stockbridge SRSLY.
