St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea appoints new board chairman and three new board members

St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea has appointed Michael Coghlan, managing partner of KHK Ventures, LLC, and director of Ann Arbor State Bank, as chairman of its board of trustees, effective January 2018.  Coghlan replaces Paula Rode, DVM, owner and president of Chelsea Animal Hospital, who has transitioned to the role of vice chair of the board.

Until 2002, Coghlan was co-founder and chief operating officer of TFM Investment Group, based in Chicago.  In 2002 he returned to Ann Arbor with his family.  Coghlan has served on St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea’s Board since 2011 in addition to having held positions on various other community boards.  In 2002, Coghlan and his wife Suzi created the Coghlan Family Foundation to support local charities that focus on children and the community.

Also effective January 2018, St. Joe’s Chelsea announced the addition of three new board members.  They are:

  • Honorable Patrick J. Conlin Jr., circuit court judge, Washtenaw County
  • Jason F. Lindauer, CRPC, senior vice president, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch
  • Michael G. Mikhail, M.D., senior vice president, Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG), and emergency medicine physician, EPMG

The  new board members join Vice Chair Paula Rode, DVM; Secretary Ann E. Feeney; Peg Bravo, vice president of medical integration, Power Wellness Management; Rob Casalou, president and CEO, Mercy Health and Saint Joseph Mercy Health System; Peter Flintoft, attorney, Keusch Flintoft & Fink, PLLC; Randall T. Forsch, M.D., MPH, chief medical officer, St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea; Nancy Graebner, president and CEO, St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea; Russell D. Keinath, M.D., Huron Gastroenterology Associates; Eric Skye, M.D., University of Michigan Health’s Chelsea Health Center; Julie Soriano, M.D., Huron River Radiation Oncology Specialists; Jeff Hall, founder and president, Second To None, Inc.; and Stephen Wampler, M.D., University of Michigan Health’s Dexter Health Center, who will replace Bradford Wylie, M.D., as the medical staff’s chief of staff (effective January 2018).  Michael Dorsey, M.D., Anesthesia Associates of Ann Arbor will serve on the Saint Joseph Mercy Health System Regional Board.
