Stockbridge School District starts COVID Hotline. In-person classes set to begin Jan. 11
by Bruce Brown
The Stockbridge Community School District is scheduled to reopen grades K-12 for in-person instruction on Jan. 11, 2021.
We are continuously monitoring COVID-19 statistics in the four counties the school district overlays just in case, but we plan to open.
While the district was in-person, we could quickly know of and manage COVID infections. During the current period of virtual-only instruction, our awareness of infections is spotty.
So that we aren’t inundated by the need to manage COVID cases on Jan. 11, we are initiating a COVID Hotline.
We will post the number along with an email option on our Panthernet.net website.
We also will inform parents when the hotline activates in late December through School Messenger calls.
Contact information for a call back from school staff will allow us to be aware of infection and quarantine issues so we can plan in advance for a safe and orderly resumption of in-person instruction.
