The Market is on the Town Square: September 23
The Open Air Market of Stockbridge began its 12th season on Friday, May 6, on the township square in downtown Stockbridge. Each week through October 28, we will be open from 4 pm to 7 pm, and we will have a full line up of Market Music.
This week, the Market will have sweet corn, beans, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, apples, pears, watermelons, honey, eggs, jam, granola, bread, cookies, pies, zucchini bread, soaps, lotions, candles, sprays and art.
Lynn will be here this week and next with her special British baked goods and cheese scones.
Market Music is from 5:30 to 7 pm featuring Liberty Stringband. Come out and enjoy the music. John Hatton’s group brings us fabulous Appalachian style string music that gets your toes tapping and your heart soaring.
The market would like to thank Genei Syrup for their fabulous maple syrup. Mark sold out last week and will be back in the spring at our early market. And with cooler weather, our lovely flower lady, Wendi, thanks everyone for their support for her first season with our market.
Our produce will start to slow down, so come and get the best of locally grown fruits and vegetables now, while we still have it.
The market will close earlier as the days get darker. Next Friday Sept 30, we will end early to make way for the Harvest Festival.
As always, details about the Open Air Market are here for you with the Stockbridge Community News.
