Town Hall Players Youth Troup Presents The Snow Queen

The Town Hall Players Youth Troup presented The Snow Queen this weekend. The story is inspired Hans Christian Anderson’s story called the Snow Queen and is what Disney’s Frozen is based off of.

The story is about the Snow Queen that kidnaps Kay and holds her prisoner at her ice palace and if Kay can’t solve a puzzle in 24 hours her heart will freeze solid and with it, the world.

Kay’s best friend, Gerda, sets out an a journey to rescue Kay from the Snow Queen and along the way, Gerda meets up with a witch that is horrible with casting spells, a penguin the aspires to be a stand up comedian, a band of robbers and even Vikings.

But in the end only love will melt the Snow Queen’s icy reign of terror.

The cast included 24 local youth and was directed by Marilyn Brumm along with several other local volunteers.
