Unadilla Township scores another hit with 4th of July Celebration- 44th year

Residents lined the streets and gravitated toward patches of shade, braving 90-degree heat to see the 44th annual Gregory Parade. Smiling cloggers seemed not to notice the rising temperatures as they transitioned from one song to the next, hands on their hips and feet tapping in sync.

“I’ve come to every 4th of July parade since they started having them,” Wanda Brown said. Her first year was 1974.

Mary and Ben Larosa, having attended for the past three years, said, “This is the first time we got to see the cloggers.” They indicated the cloggers were their favorite part.
