Volleyball Drops Pair at Season Opener

The Stockbridge volleyball team got off to a slow start to the 2021 season after dropping a pair of matches at a Marshall tri-meet Tuesday night.

The Panthers fell to host Marshall 13-25, 11-25 and dropped a hard fought three set match to Union City 25-21, 9-25, 7-15.

Grace Burg led the Panthers with nine service points and six kills at the net. Grace Robidou added four kills and three digs for the Panthers.

Maddie Dalton dished out 13 assists, while Maggie Mahler had five points, Maggie Jones four kills, and Taylor Lockhart three digs for Stockbridge.
