Volleyball Finishes Fifth in GLAC

The Stockbridge volleyball team went 2-1 at the GLAC season ending tournament and finishied fifth overall in the final standings.

The Panthers avenged an early season five set loss to Leslie by beating the Blackhawks 25-23, 25-15. They defeated Maple Valley in straight sets 25-14, 25-12 and fell to Perry in two sets 11-25, 16-25.

Stockbridge finished with a 3-9 overall record in the GLAC.

Maggie Jones had a big day with 25 points, 18 digs, and five aces to lead the Panthers.

Maddie Dalton finished with 16 assists and 16 points, while Taylor Lockhart chipped in with 15 points and three aces. Gracee Robidou added 15 digs and Alaina Kellenberger 9 kills.

The Panthers will take on Williamston in the Division 2 district opener Monday, November 1 at 5:00 PM in Fowlerville.
