Volleyball Has Rough Week

The Stockbridge volleyball team had a rough week dropping four straight matches.

The Panthers opened the week by dropping three matches at a Williamston quad on October 3.

They dropped a three-set match to Williamston 25-16, 16-25, 19-25; Corunna 10-25, 9-25; and a hard-fought match to Dansville 24-26, 25-19, 18-25.

Grace Hall led the team in kills with 17 followed Sylvia Whitt with five. Madison Mazuca recorded 16 assists, while Kaylie Shepard added six. Breanna Salyer led the team in digs with 25.

The Panthers then fell to Maple Valley in three straight games 14-25, 21-25, 23-25 October 8.

Hall led the team with nine digs and seven kills. Salyer added seven digs and six service points, while Kayle Shepard had seven assists and Molly Nichols seven service points.
