Volleyball Takes Down Perry
The Stockbridge volleyball team hosted Perry in a GLAC contest Tuesday night and came away with a four-set win over the Ramblers 25-13, 15-25, 25-19, 25-13.
The win lifted the Panthers to 2-3 in the GLAC with one home game remaining against Olivet Tuesday, October 22.
Grace Hall had a big night for the Panthers with team-highs in kills with 20, digs eight, and service points 11.
Sylvia Whitt chipped in with seven kills Breanna Salyer seven digs. Madison Mazuca had a team-high 22 assists and Kaylie Shepard 12.
The team went 1-2 at the Hanover-Horton Invitational Saturday, October 12.
The Panthers defeated Adrian 25-19, 25-22, 16-25; but fell to Addison 12-25, 25-22, 19-25 and Airport 13-25, 14-25.
Hall led the team with 21 kills and had 18 digs. Salyer led in digs with 25 and 29 service points, while Mazuca had 23 assists and 16 service points. Whitt finished with 10 kills and Shepard eight assists.
