Winter roads claim life of local teen
Hannah Glair, 17, of Munith lost her life Thursday, Nov. 15 in Henrietta Township. Rescue crews were called at 10:45 p.m according to the Jackson Citizen Patriot. She was driving east on Territorial Road when she lost control of her vehicle and hit a large tree on the south side of the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Both Henrietta Township Fire Department and Jackson Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Heavy snowfall during the day created hazardous road conditions, leading to multiple area crashes. Road conditions are believed to be the cause of the crash.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Crossroads Community Church from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and then at 11:00 a.m., Nov. 21, for funeral services at Stockbridge Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
