All students must have a signed permission slip. Students must be signed in & out by parent. Parent must pick student up on Wednesday morning.

St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea to Offer Personal Action Workshop
for people living with long-term health problems
— St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea will offer a Personal Action Toward Health (PATH) Workshop, a free six-week educational opportunity designed to provide skills and tools for people living with long-term health concerns, such as diabetes, cancer, arthritis, high blood pressure and heart conditions.

The workshop will help individuals:

• Manage every day activities by making an action plan
• Manage symptoms
• Decrease stress
• Increase energy
• Avoid disease complications
• Improve communication with your health care team and family
• Improve overall health and well-being
• Stay independent

Date: Wednesdays, October 18 through November 22
Time: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Connect with other community members on Wednesday mornings. Talk about local events, favorite books or movies, new reads, or whatever comes up. Wednesdays, Sept. 6–Dec. 27 • 11 a.m.–12 p.m.

St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea will host residents in the community who would otherwise be alone on Thanksgiving or who cannot afford a Thanksgiving meal.

Anyone who would like to attend is invited to gather for a free meal at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea.

Nov. 23 –   24th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner  11:30 – 2pm at Heritage Elementary School in Stockbridge.

Small Business Saturday Market and Luncheon,
Presbyterian Hall 11am to 3pm

Join us for our 6th annual Festival of Lights on the historic town square! This year’s event has some new and exciting additions.

Starting at 4pm-5:30pm, Santa will be in the Town Hall to visit with the children. More “Elf Stops” have been added to local businesses around the square, where various crafts and activities will be happening.

Business are also invited to participate in our new “Tree Gala”, in which they decorate their own 6 foot artificial tree (perhaps to showcase their business!) and line the steps up the Town Hall.

We still have our traditional “Gingerbread House” contest, but this year it will be inside the Town Hall.

At 6pm our Festival of Lights parade will be heading down Clinton street with special guests, Princess Elsa and Santa, followed by the lighting of the town square tree.

SRSLY concludes the night with a Christmas movie showing in the warmth of the Town Hall.
