Mr. Hejnal’s squad traveled to Lansing to play in the HOF Diamond Classic. Things started off with a 6-1 lead with Emily Breslin dominating on the mound and hitting a solo home run. This came to an end when Breslin took a line drive off her pitching arm.

Taylor Carey stepped to the mound and took the team to extra innings. She led off the inning with a triple, and afterward received Stockbridge Player of the Game trophy.

The winning run was brought in by Hannah Smith with a game-winning double.

SHS came back the next day to lose to a dominant Grand Ledge.
