Welcome to new Stockbridge resident, Hannah Paielli. The baby girl entered this world feet first and unresponsive in her parents’ vehicle.

Local homeowners Jessica and Andrew Paielli were expecting their fourth child when around 1 a.m. Monday, July 23, Jessica went into labor. The Paielli’s set off for Henry Ford Allegiance Health Hospital in Jackson.

But Hannah was on her way.

The baby arrived breach and unresponsive in the SUV. Unable to revive the baby and desperate at seeing her turn purple, Andrew called 911 and pulled into the Michigan State Police barracks in Blackman Township, Jackson.

Michigan State Trooper Ronnie Tucker, only 23 years old and with MSP for just eight months, answered the call.

He ran outside to the parking lot. There, Tucker administered lifesaving techniques, and baby Hannah began to breathe.
